About

Every design tells a story - this page tells mine.

Roots in Creativity

From childhood, I’ve been drawn to art in every form - painting, interior design, architecture, and the simple aesthetics of everyday life. Design wasn’t just something I admired; it was something I lived.

Blending Art with Technology

To bridge creativity with innovation, I pursued a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering. Growing up in India, one of the world’s most culturally diverse countries, gave me a strong appreciation for traditions, perspectives, and storytelling. My path then brought me to Canada, where I explored two IT specializations, Software Testing and Business Analysis, laying a strong foundation for logical problem-solving.

From Analyst to Designer

My career began at Panago Pizza as a Business Analyst. When opportunity knocked, I stepped into the role of UX/UI Designer, replacing a senior colleague with a decade of experience. To complement my practical journey, I enrolled at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, where I earned a UX/UI Associate Certificate, an experience that sharpened both my creativity and craft.

Balance & Mindfulness

Outside of work, I practice Meditation and Spiritual Science to stay centered and balanced. These practices fuel clarity, empathy, and patience—qualities I carry into my design approach.

Sustainability & Minimalism

I live by the philosophy of “less, but better.” Both in work and life, I practice minimalism and sustainable living—designing solutions that are clean, purposeful, and mindful of the environment. Whether it’s reducing digital clutter in an interface or reusing and repurposing materials in daily life, I believe thoughtful simplicity creates the most meaningful impact.

A Colorful Persona

I believe creativity thrives beyond the screen. My interests outside work:

Transforming spaces – I can’t resist redesigning rooms and corners until they radiate harmony and flow.

Flower alchemy – I collect wildflowers and leaves, pressing and drying them into little time capsules of nature.

Keeping traditions alive – Celebrating festivals rooted in India’s ancient culture, I bring color, music, values, and stories into modern life.

Event weaver – From cozy gatherings to cultural events, I love hosting and organizing experiences that bring people together.

Heart-first work – Giving back through social initiatives and helping others, because design for me extends into shaping communities too.

These passions keep my perspective fresh and remind me that design is ultimately about human connection and joy.

Always Curious

At my core, I’m a problem-solver and innovator, driven by curiosity and fueled by the challenge of creating meaningful, human-centered solutions. My curiosity doesn’t stop at design; I love diving into documentaries, mysteries, and thought-provoking stories that expand my perspective. These explorations inspire me to see patterns, uncover hidden connections, and bring fresh, innovative ideas back into my work.
